1. General principles

(1) To choose a garden light with a reasonable light distribution, the light distribution type of the lamp should be determined according to the function and space shape of the lighting place.

(2) Choose high-efficiency garden lights. Under the condition of meeting the glare limit requirements, for lighting that only meets the visual function, it is advisable to use direct light distribution lamps and open lamps.

(3) Choose a garden light that is easy to install and maintain, and has low operating costs.

(4) In special places where there is a risk of fire or explosion, as well as dust, humidity, vibration and corrosion, etc., lamps that meet the environmental requirements should be selected.

(5) When high-temperature parts such as the surface of Garden light and lamp accessories are close to combustibles, fire protection measures such as heat insulation and heat dissipation should be taken.

(6) Garden light should have complete photoelectric parameters, and its performance should meet the relevant provisions of the current "General Requirements and Tests for Luminaires" and other standards.

(7) The appearance of Garden light should be coordinated with the environment of the installation site.

(8) Consider the characteristics of the light source and the requirements of building decoration.

(9) There is not much difference between garden light and street light, mainly the difference in height, material thickness and aesthetics. The material of street light is thicker and higher, and garden light is more beautiful in appearance.

2. Outdoor lighting places

(1) Axisymmetric light distribution lamps should be used for high pole lighting, and the installation height of the lamps should be greater than 1/2 of the radius of the illuminated area.

(2) Garden light should effectively control its upper hemisphere luminous flux output.

3. Landscape lighting

(1) Under the condition of meeting the glare limit and light distribution requirements, the efficiency of floodlight lighting fixtures should not be less than 60%.

(2) The protection grade of landscape lighting fixtures installed outdoors should not be lower than IP55, the protection grade of buried lamps should not be lower than IP67, and the protection grade of lamps used in water should not be lower than IP68.

(3) LED garden light or lamps with single-ended fluorescent lamps should be used for contour lighting.

(4) LED garden light or lamps with narrow-diameter fluorescent lamps should be used for internal light transmission.
